Lyne, A. (1987) Fatal Attraction is a great object of art Directed by Adrian Lyne it should be an object that is archived for prosperaty a one night stand leads a relationship to develope between a married man and the other women. Glenn Close plays the fantastic Alex Forrest representing a desirable sex symbol, her personal contributions to the role meant that you always had a intuiton that the tide could turn between the sex partners and she would want more.
Unbelievable close ups chosen by the director make this film one of the most exciting and gripping tales I have personally ever seen. It is a respresentation of the ultimate bunny boiler. Being a personal fan of Michael Douglas he plays the character Dan Gallagher perfectly he loves the idea of exciting sex but doesnt want to deal with the fact that Alex wants more. Having also written a view on Basic Instict championing its role in the genre of film fetithism, Michael Douglas is without doubt the eyes staring, his desirable male gaze is a result of his sexual urges being just too strong too control.
The most remembered scene from the film is the image of the family pet rabbit being boiled in a pan this is one of my favourite film scenes ever you may ask why well in no other film I have ever seen the idea of obsession is addressed unbelievable well, the narrative is not forced and unlike any other film in fetithism drama the closure comes with the women's demise and her power is defused. What more could one desire? Definite edge-of-the-seat pace - I think the final message is designed to show that the idea of beauty and sexual gratification can be dangerous and when grouped with not intending to commite the result can be fatal.

I agree totally and this particular actress is so naturally good at playing this type of character and taking the viewer along for the roller coaster of terror
