Rear Window .. stills with invite to debate questions posed

Stills from...... Hitchcock, A. (1954) Rear Window

Does this generate a sense of you the viewer become a ‘peeping tom’ also ?

Are we able to identify with these two, as amateur detectives to justify our spying on our neighbours?

Was this the clever use of diagetic sound with courtyard noise and actual  musical composition as part of a movie’s soundtrack ?

Is Hitchcock , through this cameo 'Gazing at the Gazer' ?

Do we definitely feel as purveyors of voyeurism in this view?

Please enter into a debate concerning these questions and a feedback on ideas.
